State Rental Assistance Program – from DSAAPD

Email to DSAAPD Staff:

We have housing vouchers through the Delaware State Housing Authority!  The Program is called SRAP for State Rental Assistance Program.  Please consider this a high priority request to assist all of our customers who are privately paying their rent in completing this application, NOW.  Income verification is needed at the time that the application is submitted.

Targeted customers for SRAP:  Clients who are at high risk of institutionalization if rental assistance does not continue.

Client’s who have children at risk of foster care placement if rental assistance does not continue.

Clients who are on a path to self-sufficiency that is likely to reduce future dependence on government systems. Clients need rental assistance to continue so that they may continue work towards education or vocational goals.
